The first of the list, just a nice coincidence ? ... Aleks lives in Hamilton, where he is a teacher. A very cultivated guy, interested in european culture, in particular in serbian traditionnal folklore. His appartment is a mosaic of books, posters and icons of european culture. I met him during my second travel to Canada. Aleks shared his appartment with Dan and we were 3 in the flat during that week. Poor Aleks, sleeping on a couch ... Aleks and I are on the same wavelengh, what we noticed immediately. He did everything that could make my stay as pleasant as possible. We could talk hours together, it's incredible. He came in Europe in 2000, visiting me in Stuttgart, it was short but so nice to see him again. In 2001, it was our turn to go to Canada, in June during 2 weeks. Enough to see NY, Washington, Toronto and Detroit ... 2002 won't have been a good year for a visit from him, so 2003 : we get visit ! |

Just 25 and living in Stuttgart South, Alex is one of Peter's best friend. They knew eachother in the first school years. A very nice, intelligent and cute guy, all in one. Girls, you know what I mean ... We were some days in Autria in Feb.2000 with Peter, Sascha, his girlfriend, Stephan and Ralf. It was a nice time. Known now as "Mr Consulting", working more than I sleep !! imagine ... |

What for a long story ... A french guy (Sir Lagarrigue) was at Alcatel for a summer job (2 months) in 96 or 97, I don't exactly remember. He kept my email adress and we wrote an email per year, not more ... Nov 2001 : mail from him - I should take contact with friends of him just arrived in Stuttgart for "coaching". If I had known ... ;-) Aurélie and JC stayed 2 months (imagine, 2 months !) at home, bringing (world-class) cooking and some agitation fun in my quiet (?!?) life ... My CD's were kept as hostages some months, I am morally obliged to invite them for dinner when there is a party ... Hard life ;-) |

We lived in the same house for months without knowing we have a lot in common ... It's never too late to discover each other and have good time, that's the reason why we have more and more occasions to see eachother in the cinema or at the swimming pool or whatever. But it's still too few, his job as a doctor in an hospital don't let him much time free ... |

He like cinema too. Not a bad combination : such a guy can basically not be bad. Interesting point : he cooks very well ... so ... keeping contact is good ;-) |

| Dan ... was born 5 years and 1 day after me. What could I say about Dan ? so much. SO MUCH. I knew him in Stuttgart, during the summer 98, when he had a summer job. He left to go back to Canada at the end of the 2 months and I noticed then that I realized when he left that I had a serious problem ... ;-) The next months were the darkest of my life, after having touched Heaven ... But one year without real motivated feedback brought me on 2 feet again. The year he spent here in Germany (july 1999 - spring 2000) didn't bring any + in our relationship. Since that time, no news, one call this summer, after one year without any contact ... |

| Dejan : Mr Goodguy !!! I met Dejan during the first trip I made to Canada in winter 1999. A very first short contact in a bar, nothing to tell but this guy is so sympathic that there is no need to have a lot to say. He's so quite and relaxing. No stress, no angry, it's a pleasure to see him ... He came to Stuttgart March 2000 and Peter & I visited him during our trip to Canada in the summer 2001. It's now his turn to come to Europe ! |

The perfect son in law ... |

Hervé is my best friend. We were together at the Business school. Was it a business school ? The question is still open. He lives in the north-east of Paris at his parents because his job is near the house. Since I left to Germany, he goes on visiting me regularly. In the meantime, we exchange emails to keep in touch. It's never during a long time. We already travelled a lot together. Not only to Paris when we were students, also since I moved to Germany. One time to Danmark, everywhere in Germany, almost. He feels so good in his car that we don't hesitate moving and visit something new each time he comes. Co-pilot is a good place for me. The best experience we had is probably the 3 days we spent in Paris two years ago, with Sandra and her best friend Billie. It was so great, SO GREAT. Three days out of time, with the two nicest and sweetest girls of Stuttgart ... a paradise on earth, in Paris !! He visits me regularly here in Stuttgart, I try to see him when I'm in France, at home or in Paris, and it's always like if we had seen us a day before. This year, we've been knowing us for 10 years ... |

Holger was my roommate during the 3 years I lived in Kernerstrasse in Stuttgart. He's a young guy I met in 98 via Internet. I was looking for somebody to live with and I knew at the first time I saw him we wouldn't get any problem living in the same appartment. We found the appartment two weeks after our first contact and moved in 4 weeks later ! high speed ! Since my move to Esslingen, there are not so many occasions to see each other, he doesn't come to the cinema anymore ... But I still hope he will again soon. |

I think Julien is the person I admirate at most amoung my friends. That guy has such a such a clear vision about all what is around him, incredible. While I think days and days about eternal deals and problems, he sees the decisive point to focus on and the direction to take. I am not the kind of guy to get embarassed with people I don't wnat to have around me, Julien is even more expeditive, direct. He is THE guy you don't want to disappoint, because to disappoint him generally means you basicly did something wrong. Julien left Stuttgart in spring 2000 and it's really a pity not to have the occasion to see him anymore. I visited him in Paris in 2001, and since that time, no occasion to meet ... Really a pity ... |

| Kerry is my Internet master. I met him end of 98 when I decided to launch the website of the ADD. I wrote a word in a free weekly Newspapers and he proposed to help me. Successful as you can see. He was working in a bank as responsible for the PC network : mail administration for example. I don't know what additionally else ... He made a short visit at Bosch before working now at Siemens. |

I met Kevin in a dark corner of a disco in Stuttgart. The 3 following months were something special, curious and difficult to describe. Since the end of those three months, I try to see him regularly. He lived Stuttgart and seems to enjoy moving regularly. From the 5th floor in Stuttgart east to an appartment in the 4rd floor in Stuttgart west, the opposite 2 years later ! Charming ! :-) A very nice guy, a particular experience I did with meeting him. |

I met Patrick in a disco at the end of 99. Very charming guy, always with a smile even if he's in a bad mood. He first began a graduate at the university for languages in Tübingen, if I remember well, but got fed up with it after some semesters. He turned 180° and learnt html, java, javascripts and all that Internet stuff to become an "online publisher" !! Definitely my best friend in Stuttgart. |

Like french guys, you have to meet him to understand what I'm talking about. Who doesn't know who Peter is ? That one hasn't probably heard from me since 2000. Peter is 26 y.o and lives in Esslingen. I met him through Internet, just before flying to Canada. He is painter, assisting his father in the family owned company we always call "Schweizer & Schweizer Inc." Very very very nice guy with normal people, but terrible with Deutsche Telekom Employees. Awarded "Mr getting a discount". "Can everything but no academic german" |

My best girl-friend, met at Alcatel in 1998. We have a lot in common. For those who read between the lines : A LOT. She lived in Böblingen and then moved in 2001 to Stuttgart. I left the department where we worked together and she followed me to another business division. My department moved and we are seperated again. But we try to see us as often as possible and very often phone eachother, Alcatel pays ! |

Rodolfo was my teacher for sign language, but in the meantime much more than a teacher. I could meet an incredible number of persons thanks to him. I try to see him as often as possible, but it's not so easy. He works at DaimlerChrysler, is rather busy. My new job at Alcatel takes now much more time than I would have wished. But we succeed in seing us, sometimes by hasard, in the train. He si very "strong" in his head and always try to make people understand that deaf is a handicap that can't be seen. And if people don't see a handicap, they don't pay attention and don't make any effort to adapt their behaviour. Active in the deaf community, he still give lessons. Very interesting, worth to learn, this language !!! |

Sandra is the daughter of the sister of Dragica (my best collegue at Alcatel) and I met her when Dragica wanted to make some shopping with the two "girls". Indeed, Sandra has a twin sister. Both are so sweet, it's adream to spend time with them. I know Sandra much more than her sister, I had more opportunities to meet her. We were in Paris with her best friend Billie. Hervé was there too. It was a great time. We visited the city at the maximum speed. All what could be seen within 3 days, we saw it ... The girls couldn't walk at the end of the 3rd day anymore. Sandra gets married Sept'2002. |

| Stephan lives in Ludwigsburg, in the north of Stuttgart and goes to the university in Esslingen. I knew him at Alcatel in 95 : he replaces me in the purchasing department when I had to go to Offenburg for a semester study. Very sympathic guy, I don't see him so often as I wish. We are both cinema fans and meet almost exclusively to see a film. Very difficult to find a date to see us. |

Sven is one of the few friends we met in 2001. He comes from Berlin to Stuttgart to get a better job. He's a building engineer in one of those big companies located in the south of Germany. Very nice and quiet guy, rarely in a bad mood. Definitively a very good friend to go out with ... mainly if you want to stay till 03:00 in the disco but not being alone there. One of the best friends I have in Stuttgart, I think, he has the faculty to see what I have in mind, sometimes even before I'm aware of it. Impressing me ... Regularly giving his opinion with dry jokes I am really crazy of ... A really super friend ... |

Xavier is my brother. 20 this year, so 8 years younger than me, but a few centimeters taller. He's always ready to have a funny word about anybody. Could be successful as an actor ! His favorite role is to act as a rebell, although our mother's eductation was rather traditionnal. Maybe because it was too traditionnal. The last idea he got was to paint his hair in grey. Mum absolutely didn't enjoy the idea. Strange. He dares saying and doing what I didn't at his age. I made the way, I suppose. Says "your mother" when we talk together about (our) Mum. His last good word, at a moment when Mum was nerving him : TA MERE, JE VAIS EN FAIRE DE LA BOUFFE A POKEMON YOUR MOTHER, I GONNA MAKE FOOD FOR POKEMON OF HER |
