USA West Coast |
USA is not exactly my dream like most of people. I can understand canadian people, hating being compared with americans. I am not really fascinated by a "car and hamburger"-civilisation. I was always the opinion we get enough fom that consumming society here in Europe to go and make holiday there. Butwhy not. At the seaside, only one week, but why not ?

Seattle is a city I wanted to visit when I was in Vancouver last summer, but the July 4.th prevented me from that travel, all hotels were overbooked. No chance. So, that's for this year.

I travel with Peter and Melanie. We made a step in Vancouver, sleeping 2 nights in the Youth Hostelling. Renting bikes and discover the city this way, fantastic. Then, we took a car and went throuth the USA along the coast. Highlight of that trip: the Redwood National Parc, with its "Avenue of the giants". San Francisco gave me again some satisfaction about USA. Nice city where we walked, walked and walked ... We spent 2 or 3 days there, it was very pleasant to visit with the cable car and buses. We had a perfect weather too, no need to have a pullover, a summer weather in september !! That's a city I would like to show herv? if possible, he would like it, for sure.
