I met Dan in a disco in Stuttgart in the summer 98. I wanted to see him again and decided in november to take a flight for Canada and to stay there two weeks. I landed in Toronto and travelled by train with Dan to Windsor, where he was living. I stayed in Windsor one week and decided then to move to Quebec via Montréal.

The first step was 3 days is Montreal, fanstastic. -15°c, but no wind, it was superbe. I walked the 3 days in the city, having shorts nights in the "hostelling international Montreal". A great moment. |

| The next 3 days were terrific : only -9? but an incredible wind. I walked in Quebec a long as I could, but renonced quickly, it was much too cold for me : with that wind, the temperature was equivalent -40?... |
