Result : not so good, a mix of stupid passion, bad adventure and pathetic storyboard. |

I found this film fantastic. Emotional break like in "City of angels" with Meg Ryan and Nicolas Cage. Alex didn't find it that good, it's a question of taste. |

When a French knight (Count Thibault) and his servant (Christian Clavier) become the
unfortunate victims of a wizard's (Malcolm McDowell) potion, they find themselves lost in a strange new world - modern day America.".
This film is the US version of the "Les visiteurs", a success story in France. "Les visiteurs 2" was not a big success, so they rather adapted the first film to the US taste. Not so fresh as the original version, they didn't keep the complexity of the initial story. Disappointing. |

Abahachi (MICHAEL "BULLY" HERBIG),
der Apachenhäuptling, hat vom
Geschäftsmann Santa Maria (SKY DU
MONT) ein Lokal gekauft, damit sein
Stamm endlich auch über ein
Stamm-Lokal verfügen kann. Für den
Kauf der Immobilie hat Abahachi - wie
damals üblich - beim Stamme der
Schoschonen einen Kredit in Form eines
Sackes mit Goldstücken aufgenommen.
Als Abahachi und sein Blutsbruder
Ranger (CHRISTIAN TRAMITZ) bei der
Übergabe des Stamm-Lokals feststellen,
dass sie vom Geschäftsmann Santa
Maria hinterlistig hereingelegt wurden,
kommt es zu einem Eklat: Santa Maria erschießt den
anwesenden Sohn des Häuptlings der Schoschonen, der den
Sack mit den Goldstücken überbracht hatte. Santa Maria und seine Männer flüchten mit dem
Gold. Und Abahachi ist in großen Schwierigkeiten ... |
